    The eyebrows and hair are quite a challenge. First time ever drawing a face.

      That’s very good for the first time 🙂 The hair looks great; it is usually the biggest challenge for the beginners, you nailed it 🙂 The shading and the eyes are also great. Will you shade it more or this is a finished piece?

        Thank you! I think for now it’s the finished piece. I just want to keep practicing it and watch your videos on this tutorial again to do a comparison. Also it’s so hard for me to visually think about the shading too, I see a reference photo but can’t judge what pencil shading to use.

          Yes, if you draw the same drawing again, it will be much easier. Have you used PenPick Graphite to help you with choosing shades? As a member, you can use it with your own images.
